Japan Trip

Days 6-8: 26-28 April

On day 6 we arrived in Osaka, met Phil for lunch, went shopping at many places (like Lover's Rock) and took no photos. Masayuki was working at his chef job. We 'slept' in Phil's micro-flat.

On day 7 we saw Takarazuka's all-female musical theatre, and visited the Atom Boy museum nearby. Few photos resulted. Luckily we managed to get a room overnight in a love hotel round the corner from Phil, which was about five times the size of her flat.

Our last day in Osaka we spent travelling around Osaka, from Phil's high school to the Expo park and the ethnological museum there (free tickets thanks to Phil's friend Nobuko).

We did not see the Osaka aquarium.

Relaxing during the interval at the Takarazuka theatre. The show was excellent.

En route to Phil's school.

We rode the Osaka monorail to the park, the longest in the world!

The amusement park rollercoaster joins the monorail at the Expo park station.

A group photo at the Expo park. We also had bent̄o. Mmm.

Pedalo boating in the Expo park. The pond is dotted with rusting sculptures.
